My Story
Born and raised in Los Angeles, a big city where there are a sweeping range of high-valued homes + buildings. As a young child, the norm was traveling a long distance from home to school.
At that time, I developed an acumen for real estate and paid close attention to the various residential communities along the way; often, I noticed the beauty within the differences. Noticing the city’s historic master plan and how each street connected, I began to formulate LA’s short cuts and love the big city I lived in.
As a young girl
I saw my sweet grandmother carve out her own niche within residential real estate by buying and managing various duplexes. That said, it was only natural to pursue a career within the same industry, real estate. In college at USC, I studied Real Estate Development and later studied Business Management & Administration as a graduate student; in each degree, I learned about urban city master plans and business. Since studying, I’ve worked in commercial real estate + asset management for 12 years, managing assets on behalf of private and public investors/owners. Also, I’m a licensed California realtor.
It was easy to place a great deal of focus on the rigid 8-5pm corporate work flow, post schooling. Though over time, the grind began to overshadow my true passion for cooking, candles, and anything home + style.
Home Style
Today and for years to come, I want to share my true passion of home + style, utilizing key fundamentals from my asset management experience.
I plan on creating your very own ART experience, curating the entire home package for the customer, which encompasses offering you homes through sales, mouth-watering/quick recipes, home style ideas and the best-smelling, personally curated candles: this is ART Homestyle.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Terrell Thomas, who I met in college. We have three children (Zoey, Carter & Tatum), who make up a huge part of my life; I can’t wait to share them with you!
